POLYGIENE ODOR CONTROL TECHNOLOGY

Hunting is an active sport. When you sweat, moisture gets trapped and can create smelly odors. That's where Polygiene comes in. Polygiene prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria at the source.
To do this, Polygiene uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimicrobial properties. The treatment is applied at the finishing stages of textile production and field and lab tests show a high level of odor control beyond the usual lifespan of a garment. Products treated with Polygiene remain odor-free and will help you avoid detection from wary game this season.
MERINO WOOL
We build our Merino products from sheep’s wool grown in the mountains of New Zealand. These sheep live in an environment with extremes of 95ºF+ in summer and -5ºF in winter. Their thin wool layer keeps them cool in the summer and their thicker coat insulates during winter. We’ve embraced the unique qualities of Merino and built our foundation to the XKG line from these properties.
As hunters, we choose Merino because of its high functionality in the field. Merino is a natural fiber that exhibits odor controlling qualities – essential to every hunter. It regulates your body temperature and wicks moisture away from your body, evaporating it instead of absorbing it into the fibers. Our line of Merino products are built with these qualities in mind, while also utilizing a warmth-to-weight ratio that is one of the best performing in the industry.
